I’m Lina Franci — owner and principal designer of Franci Designs, specializing in designing homes and events!
 

My passion for design began at a young age. I spent much of my childhood drawing and painting, always trying to make things look pretty, which naturally led me to a career in fashion and cosmetics. During my time with MAC Cosmetics, I had the opportunity to work alongside an incredibly creative team of artists who inspired me to really get to know my clients, think creatively, experiment with color, texture, and balance, and push boundaries through innovative approach and incredible immersive events. It gave me a deep appreciation for detail, composition, and storytelling through design.

Since graduating with honors in Interior Decorating in 2011, I've gained extensive experience helping clients select paint colours, wallcoverings, and luxury furnishings for their homes. These experiences have refined my eye for colour, texture, and balance while getting to know so many amazing trades throughout the process.

My love for design and details also led me to a career in event planning! I've spent over a decade working in events & hospitality with various planners and venues where managing client experiences, vendors, timelines, logistics, and the fine details has became second nature. That same organizational focus also shapes how I approach every design project. I believe that designing home and designing an event share a similar foundation; It starts with understanding your vision and bringing it to life with care and creativity. Every great event or space should tell a story where colors, textures, lighting, and ambiance all come together to create a lasting impression.
